In 2018, Nikki started reaching out to fellow bloggers and pattern testers for input on her Patter Testing 101 series. One series turned into two and before they knew it, House of Curves was born.
House of Curves started as collaboration of plus size sewing bloggers bringing content through blog tours, monthly themes and inspiration linked together from their own blogs. From there, House of Curves Hangout was born and then – to celebrate 1,000 members in July 2019– a website was launched! On there, you can find posts with topics like Body Positivity, Pattern Reviews, Seasonal Inspiration and The Fitting Room.
House of Curves moves in love. We post so that other plus size people can find a body that looks like theirs and help on your journey to loving yourself now. You can find an exclusive “Blogger Bodies” album in our group where you can find your closest body or style match so you know who to watch! If you have an idea for something you would like to see us do, reach out to us on our Facebook page.
Pattern Testing 101 & Personal Stories is where we got our start. Not only do they talk about pattern testing as a plus body, but they introduce you to each of the original HOC Bloggers and give you a chance to see our testing stories: how we got our start and why.
